New: Stripe Cancellation Reasons

Understanding why customers cancel is just as important as knowing when they do.

You can now see customer-selected cancellation reasons from Stripe directly in Baremetrics! If you're using Stripe’s self-serve billing page, we’ll automatically pull in:

  • Stripe Cancellation Feedback (e.g. too_expensive, unused, switched_service, and more)
  • Stripe Cancellation Reason (e.g. cancellation_requested)



This information is available as customer attributes and can be used for:

  • Building targeted segments (like everyone who canceled due to price)
  • Surfacing insights into why churn happens
  • Sharpening your retention strategy

You can also view these details right on the customer profile. ✨
