We're excited to announce an improvement for those using Stripe with our platform. Now, charges that aren't linked to an invoice will have descriptions directly visible to you. This update means that you'll have more context and clarity when reviewing your Stripe charges, making it easier to understand and manage your transactions.
Behind the scenes, we've added a new 'description' column to our charge records, ensuring this information is seamlessly integrated into your existing workflows. This enhancement is designed to give you a more comprehensive view of your financial activities, helping you stay on top of your business with ease.
You can now access four new attributes that show a customer’s current value if they’re active or their last known value if they’ve canceled. This gives you the full story, even after someone leaves.
Last Known MRR: The customer’s current MRR if active or their final MRR before canceling
Last Known Plan: The name of the customer’s current or most recent plan
Last Known Plan Months: The billing interval of their plan, such as monthly or annual
Last Known Stripe Products: The Stripe product or products tied to their current or most recent subscription
These fields help you build better segments, measure revenue impact, and get clearer insight into churn and retention.
You’ll find them on the Customers page, under filters, to create segments:
Understanding why customers cancel is just as important as knowing when they do.
You can now see customer-selected cancellation reasons from Stripe directly in Baremetrics! If you're using Stripe’s self-serve billing page, we’ll automatically pull in:
Stripe Cancellation Feedback (e.g. too_expensive, unused, switched_service, and more)
No more guessing or digging through emails. We’ve made it easier to stay on top of your Apple Developer agreements.
Now, if your account runs into an issue - like an unaccepted new service agreement- you’ll see a clear banner right in the Baremetrics interface. Plus, we’ll send you a daily email of any sync errors, so nothing slips through the cracks.
This means faster visibility and less disruption to your revenue tracking.
